Things to Do in Bali

Visiting Bali

Many people are familiar with Bali that is located in Indonesia. People are already familiar with its unique culture, its heritage and the variety of things that can be done there. This does not mean though that people have already gone there. A lot of people plan but their plans are usually overshadowed because there are other countries, options that are considered and chosen instead. For those who still do not realize the beauty of Bali, you should know that there are a lot of things that can be done there with any of the available Bali tour package. All you need to do is plan what you want to do and you will be able to achieve more.
More Than Just Beaches
A lot of tourists think that Bali does not offer anything aside from its wonderful beaches. The traditional beach bum may want to see it just to see the difference that it has with other countries but the truth is that Bali has spots and attractions that are beyond what is expected. The rich culture of Bali is always apparent and this is one thing that makes the whole place different from any other place that you will see on earth.
Biking In Bali
Like mentioned earlier, there are still other things that can be seen beyond Bali. You may be surprised to know that you can actually bike around there. The best biking spot in Bali is in Ubud. There are some people who would want to take the bike around the streets so that they can check out different attractions there. Aside from biking, you may also want to try out climbing Mt. Batur. This is usually available through availing package tours that you can purchase and register for on the Internet even before you arrive in Bali.
Water Sports and Night Life
There is a variety of water sports that you can try. If you have always wanted to try surfing, you can probably achieve that when you go to Bali. There are some spots that are considered better for surfing though so it will be best to research ahead of time so that you know exactly where you would need to go. Kuta is usually the recommended spot for surfing. Aside from that, the night life in this place is always kicking. This is where you will find all the nice things about beaches and partying. You will surely enjoy Kuta if you are into those kinds of things.
Diving In Bali
If staying above water is not really your thing, you may want to go under the water and experience seeing life under the sea. Menjangan Island is known to be a spot where not a lot of people go to because it is a bit secluded and not very appealing to people who go to Bali to party. This fact makes it perfect for snorkelling. Trying this out will expose you to the beauty of the sea underneath the surface. Do remember that it may take hours before you arrive at this place from Bali but when you are there, you will realize that it is all worth it.
We specialises in providing Bali tour packages to our clients all over the world. You can learn more over at our website at http://www.lokopoko.travel/indonesia-bali

If you are looking for a perfect beach destination for your Caribbean holiday, look no further than Jamaica. With its extensive coastline and fine weather, Jamaica offers some of the best stretches of the sun, sand and sea to be found anywhere in the Caribbean. Montego Bay, the second largest town on the island was voted the world's leading beach destination in 2010 at the World Travel Awards, considered to be the Oscars of the travel industry.
From spotless white sand to beaches with rough and rocky waves, you will find a stretch of your choice. Some of the beaches are secluded while others like the Seven Miles Beach in Negril present a lively social vibe.
Listed here are some of the more famous beaches in Jamaica.
Seven Miles Beach
The Seven Miles Beach in Negril on the west coast has consistently been voted amongst the best in the world. It offers a lively social vibe and is dotted with vendors selling the famous Jerk food and other items. It also hosts live Reggae shows in the evening. While most of the beach is family-friendly, there are some nudist patches where guests bare all.
Boston Bay
The Boston Bay beach boasts white silky sand and is considered to be one of the best places in Jamaica where you can enjoy jerk meat. Apart from swimming, you can enjoy some great water sports. In fact, you can rent a surfboard and sail along the biggest waves in Jamaica.
Treasure Beach
Set on the south coast of the island, Treasure beach is one of the most sedate beaches in Jamaica and is a great place to relax and chill away from the crowds. However, swimming here is a bit tricky as the undercurrents can be dangerous. The crashing waves make it one of the most dramatic sights on the island.
Doctor's Cave Beach
This five mile long beach in Montego Bay has been one of the most famous stretches of sand in Jamaica for nearly a century. It is famous for its white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The sheltered location is ideal for swimming. It is part of the protected Montego Bay Marine Park, which has many coral reefs which can be explored by snorkelers.
Turtle Beach
The Turtle Beach is located in the resort town of Ocho Rios. Apart from spending time on the sand you can also visit the Dunn's River Falls and Dolphins Cove. The beach is perfect for swimming and a range of water activities. It also offers a range of beachfront Caribbean villas and other accommodation options.

Top Five Must-See Beaches in the Philippines

When thinking of a tropical paradise, many people imagine Bali but the Philippines offer a wonderful alternative. The beautiful nature, the serenity and the clean beaches have all increased the popularity of the archipelago.

If you love the beach, the crystal blue water and the picturesque appeal of the marine flora and fauna, the beaches are just right for you. Here is a list of the five must-see beaches of the Philippines.
1) El Nido Beach, Palawan
Customized and unforgettable beach breaks in AsiaThe town of El Nido is located 420 kilometres away from Manila and is often labelled as the best beach destination of the archipelago. In 1984, a large portion of the beach was declared a turtle sanctuary and later on, the entire area became a marine reserve.
El Nido is often called the last frontier. It impresses with the virginity of the nature, the peacefulness and the entertainment opportunities. You can try caving, kayaking and even island hopping.
2) Boracay, Aklan
Boracay's popularity as one of the best beach destinations has increased a lot over the past few years. The small island is located south of Manila and White Beach, its most famous tourist spot, has received a number of prestigious awards.
The fine white sand and crystal blue waters are the most prominent characteristics of Boracay beaches. In 2012, Boracay received a best island in the world award by Travel + Leisure magazine. Despite the popularity, Boracay still has some secluded beaches and romantic sites that offer privacy and serenity.
3) Siargao Island
Surfers have certainly heard about Siargao Island, since it is considered the number one surfing spot of the Philippines.
Cloud Nine is incredibly popular among surfers and as such, it is always crowded and noisy. Siargao Island, however, does have some secluded, peaceful beaches where you will get to enjoy nature to the fullest.
4) Mactan Island
The island of Mactan brags some of the finest Philippines beaches. It is located very close to Cebu Island and Mactan attracts numerous tourists because it is a coral island destination. Some of the best diving experiences in the area are available there.
Mactan Island is also the home of Mactan Island Aquarium - the only attraction of this kind in the Visayas. The accommodation options are suitable for every taste and preference and if you really value your privacy, you can choose one of the Mactan private beaches for your vacation.
5) Panglao, Bohol
Panglao Island is a limestone unit that brags numerous caves, one of which supplies the entire island with water. Alona Beach is one of the Panglao places that attract an incredibly large number of tourists.
The Panglao beaches are very similar to the ones on Boracay - fine white sand and crystal clear water. Panglao offers one of the best diving experiences but its popularity has made the place a bit crowded.
To read about it is very different from seeing for yourself and exploring the beauty of the Philippines. Do you like white sand, coral reefs, diving and lush greenery? If your answer is yes, you should certainly consider organising a vacation. The islands of the Philippines are welcoming, peaceful and suitable for everyone. Just choose the one you like the most and start exploring!

Exploring The Natural Wonders Of Boracay Beaches

Lowe Alpine Edge 20 Day Pack - Lizard Green Light Gray - $65.00

The Lowe Alpine Edge 20 Day Pack is a great day pack for those who like to travel or hike.

Boracay, without a doubt, is one of the most famous tourist spots in the world that is frequented by local and international visitors every year. It is one of the most polished tourist gems of the Philippines, and even celebrities rely on the fun and relaxation that it can bring. In Boracay, you can explore numerous beaches and the activities that are correlated with them.
White Beach - The majesty of purely white sand
Boracay Island Philippines is famous for White Beach. The beach is popular for its attractive white sand. Among all the beaches on Boracay, this is the trump card. In fact, it has been so famous that it is dubbed as the Boracay beach itself. White Beach is about 4 kilometres long and up to 100 metres wide. You can spend hours strolling the beach with your friends and loved ones. Activities at White Beach include banana boat ride, flying fish, and sailing. There are still a few for sale properties in Boracay along white beach, but most prime positions have already been snapped up by large hotels.
Puka Shell Beach - Time to collect those shells
Puka Shell Beach is considered as the most primitive part of the island. Resort developers, for some reasons, have not commercialised it completely. If you fancy collecting beach mementoes, a short boat or tricycle ride away, and you will reach Puka Shell Beach. The beach is named after the Puka Shell, the world's finest shell discovered by man.
Balinghai Beach - The secluded paradise
Balinghai is a beach paradise meant for couples and people who want to have peace of mind. The beach is enclosed by high sections of rocks. You can find cottages here that provide lodging and other services. The resort in Balinghai is also known to offer an assortment of food and drinks that are worth trying. Snorkeling is a famous activity that can be enjoyed by sea lovers.
Cagban Beach - Meant for treasure hunters
Beaches are good sources of treasures and hidden objects that have unknown value. If you are one of those who are curious enough about the treasures of Boracay, then it is time for you to explore Cagban Beach. The beach is not the central hub of activities, so you visit it if you want to have a peaceful moment. Rumours say that there are still some treasure chests hidden in Cagban-a great opportunity to take out a metal detector device and seek booty.
Ilig-iligan Beach - The snorkeler's paradise
The easternmost part of the island is known because of Ilig-iligan Beach. Dense trees and jungle surround the area and there are also coves and caves to discover. Ilig-iligan Beach is a snorkeler's paradise because the waves are calmer. Boracay Island youths also offer their services if ever you want to visit the bat caves, about thirty minutes away from the main beach.
Upon reaching the island, the reception or front desk of Boracay hotels and resorts can usually provide information and organise transport to the beaches that you want to visit.
I write articles about the paradise island in the Philippines named as Boracay, to educate people what this world class beach can offer. Giving away some valuable traveling tips, news, guides and reviews of the best Boracay resorts and hotels for accommodations as well as the Real Estate in Boracay for property investments.

Marshall Islands: The Ultimate Island Hopping Getaway

In the north of the Pacific Ocean is a sprawl of 1,156 islands and islets surrounded by teeming coral reefs. Although first discovered by the Micronesians, the Marshall Islands was named after a British captain in 1788 following an expedition. It acquired a rich history of occupants starting with European explorers, the Germans in the late 1800s, the Japanese, and finally taken over by the Americans during the Second World War. It became a self-governed island country in 1986, and it is officially named the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The archipelago is now a bustling tourist destination, popular with divers and sea farers.
The capital is called Majuro which is a large coral atoll roosted around 64 Pacific islands called Ratak Chain of the Marshall Islands. This is the jumping off point of tourists as the international flight from Hawaii lands here. While in the capital, one can already frolic at the nearby pristine beaches. Lora beach is close to the airport, costing only $2 by bus. Although near the city, Lora beach has maintained the clean turquoise water. Not far from the beach is Eneko Island, surrounded by shimmering waters that changed from aquamarine to navy. Eneko is secluded and it offers ultimate privacy for vacationers. It is also lush with large fruit trees so visitors are not baked under the sun all day long. Snorkelers can also experience swimming with large schools of fish that do not seem to mind human presence in the water.
Another popular destination is the Bikini atoll. It was made famous when the area was used as a site for Operation Crossroads by the U.S. military in 1946. It was also the testing venue for the U.S. military's nuclear weapons in the wake of World War II. Now it's a Unesco World Heritage Site. Sunken ships are still at the bottom of the ocean, along with the crater that the hydrogen bomb testing produced more than almost 70 years ago. It is a wonderful underwater destination for divers and the atoll is drawing more submerging tourists each year. The untouched reefs seemed to have been trapped in time which is a haven for snorkelers. The same coral beauty lies around Arno atoll. It is also home to a pearl farm and reasonably priced accommodations. Visitors love biking through the lush jungles or just relax on the beach. This atoll encloses three different lagoons, each with a distinct marine offering.
Enamored by the islands' natural beauty, tourists usually have difficulty leaving behind the Marshall Islands when it's time to go home. Learn more about the amazing spots this Island has to offer and get travel guides in Travelingeast.com

What to Do on a Holiday in Koh Samui

The second largest island in Thailand after Phuket, Koh Samui is one of the most scenic and sought out holiday destinations in the world. While the beaches are the foremost attraction, Koh Samui also promises an excellent restaurant scene with plenty of opportunities for shopping and sightseeing as well. The island is a part of the virginal Angthong National Marine Park, a beautiful protected area that inspired Alex Garland to write his famous book by the name of 'The Beach.'
Thailand Luxury Hotels & Resorts
What to see and do in Koh Samui
Beaches: Koh Samui has much to offer the holidaymakers. The beaches are by far the greatest attraction. Dotted with coconut trees swaying gently in the breeze and lapping up the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand, the beaches present a lively social vibe and are perfect for soaking up the tropical sun. Apart from sun bathing and lounging away the hours in a hammock, you can also enjoy a massage, get your hair braided and buy barbequed food right on the beaches. The most famous beach is Chaweng Beach boasting a colourful vibrancy during the day. At night it becomes the focal point of entertainment with people flocking to its bars, clubs and restaurants.
Water sports: Apart from swimming, you can enjoy a range of water sports such as scuba diving, snorkelling, and kitesurfing. An international sailing tournament, the Samui Regatta is held every year which attracts participants from Australia, Singapore, Japan and China.
Big Buddha: The Big Buddha shrine is the island's signature landmark. The 12 metre high golden Buddha statue can be seen from several kilometres away. In fact, the sight is the first to greet you when you land at the airport. The temple also has several other shrines that house smaller Buddhas. The complex is one of the most popular sightseeing destinations on the island. The place also has a small market place with vendors selling lucky charms and other souvenirs.
Ang Thong National Marine Park: Spread over 42 islands, the park is located to the north west of Koh Samui and features lime stone massifs, tropical rainforests, small coves and deserted beaches. The islands themselves seem to rise as dramatic walls of rock soaring hundreds of metres high.
Snake Farm: The farm is home to some of the most scary and poisonous snakes in Asia. Also on display are centipedes and scorpions.
Accommodation in Koh Samui
There is no dearth of accommodation options on the island. However, Koh Samui villas, set amidst rolling hills, near beaches and areas of spectacular natural beauty are emerging as the accommodation of choice for couples seeking privacy and space, and also for families and friends who wish to spend quality time together.
